Pink Heals Tri-Cities IL Chapter is a 100% volunteer nonprofit 501(c)3 organization that raises awareness and funds for everyone with cancer in our communities. We provide a true community based support family to show those battling any form of cancer that they are not alone.
Do you have a loved one, friend, co-worker, neighbor, or classmate currently being treated for cancer or are a survivor? We would love to come visit them anywhere, anytime.
Along with our visits you may see us at a fundraiser helping local cancer patients in need of financial assistance. All proceeds we raise go directly back into your community and stay 100% local, because we are 100% local.
Pink Heals Tri-Cities has chosen the color pink to represent love to all women, men and children who are current patients, are survivors, or have passed away with any form of cancer.
No one in our organization is paid. Pink Heals Tri-Cities is operated solely by volunteers and is funded by the sale of merchandise, fundraising events and donations only.
Our pink fire truck, squad car, and ambulance bring a community together out of love, not on behalf of a cause or a ribbon, but on behalf of the people. We support men, women and children in the Northern Illinois area through their journey with any form of cancer. We are truly a movement for the people, by the people.
This is a program by the PEOPLE, for the PEOPLE, and it’s free to adopt. Yes! We said free - it doesn't cost anyone a penny to have our pink vehicles visit any cancer patient needing some extra love and support. We put our volunteerism and our labor of love to work for the people in our communities. The money raised by community efforts – by individuals & local businesses – stays in the Northern Illinois region!
That's because we are 100% volunteer and a true 100% nonprofit organization.
